Easy Ways to Look Younger

Many of those who make their living by helping others maintain a younger-looking appearance would like to keep their information secret. They like to cloak their products and procedures in as much mystery as possible. This isn't to make you believe that they're all that much smarter than you are so much as it is to keep you from realizing how easy it really is to keep your skin looking and feeling like it did 20 years ago.

Keep It Simple, See?

To be sure, there is plenty of science behind proper skin treatment, including chemistry and biology. But a lot of it also has to do with common sense which, as we all know, isn't really all that common. Moisturizing is essential, from within and without - that means drink plenty of water - but some things that might seem good for your skin (such as mineral oil) actually have the effect of suffocating your pores.

Options, Expensive and Otherwise

The easiest way to achieve the goal of youthful appearance, meaning the way that involves the least amount of effort, is to make regular stops at your local beauty salon to let the professionals take care of your face and hands. While this is would be the most expensive option (short of cosmetic surgery), and can provide you with a good source of information, much of what is done in a spa or salon can be replicated in the comfort zone found before your own vanity mirror.

Exfoliants, peels and masks are only some of the treatments that can help your skin, but they are hardly the only factors in skin care. Little things, like patting your face dry instead of rubbing it with a towel, are as beneficial as they are effortless. The same can be said of getting enough sleep, or just plain smiling (with whitened teeth) more often. The way you dress, and your hairstyle, can also impact the way in which others view you. If you look good, you feel good... It doesn't get much simpler than that.
